When I think about the CDT, I always think of rainbows. On our thru-hike, it rained a decent amount, especially on the northern half of the trail. But with that rain came so many beautiful rainbows.

It was a slower-paced year for me, which was very much needed after hiking the PCT in 2022 and the CDT in 2023. I think when I finished the CDT I knew I needed this year to recover. Back-to-back 2,600+ mile thru-h
